How the Process Works

From reservation to pickup day, here's exactly what to expect when you get a Goldendoodle from Purkey Puppies.

1

Reserve your spot

Submit the $200 reservation fee through our reservation form. Puppy selection is first come, first served in reservation order, and your fee locks in your price for 12 months from the date of deposit.

2

We match you with a litter

As litters are born, we work down the waitlist in order. You'll get photos and updates as the puppies grow, and when it's your turn you choose your puppy from the available litter.

3

Get ready while we do the early work

Before pickup, your puppy gets its first shot, a veterinary well-check, a litter-box potty-training foundation, and daily socialization inside our home. Meanwhile, our supply checklist helps you get your house ready.

4

Pickup day

At eight weeks, pay the $1,500 balance and bring your puppy home. Local pickup is by appointment at our Midland or Red Oak, TX locations, with flight nanny and ground transport available on request.

Budgeting Beyond the Purchase Price

We believe in honest expectations, so here's the part many breeders skip: the purchase price is only the beginning. Plan for startup supplies — crate, bed, food, leash, toys — plus ongoing costs like quality food, routine vet care, and professional grooming every six to eight weeks (low-shedding coats need more grooming, not less). Our breeder-recommended products list covers everything our own puppies grow up with.

Optional upgrades — Priority Picking Position, Early Foundation Training, and Breeding Rights — are available if they fit your plans. Each one is explained on our upgrades page. And if you're comparing prices between breeders, our guide to questions worth asking any breeder will help you understand what a fair price should actually include.
